Denis Chabot is a professional musician who has played in several renowned orchestras, including: the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the McGill Chamber Orchestra, and the Société de Musique Contemporaine du Québec. He has also worked internationally with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra (Finland), Orchestra Sinfonica de Tenerife and Orchestra Sinfonica deBarcelona.

In addition to his career as a musician, he was artistic coordinator of the Festival de Lanaudière, Canada’s largest classical music festival, from 2004 to 2018.

After living and working for several years in Montreal, London, Barcelona, Lahti (Finland) and Tenerife (Canary Islands), he gradually expanded his fields of expertise, developing a unique expertise by combining several functions over the years in the musical field, including: Orchestra and Choir Manager(contractor), artistic coordinator, production coordinator, music librarian and executive producer.

In 2018, based on these multiple experiences, he founded “Denis Chabot MTL” and “Le FILMharmonique” to offer a flexible and comprehensive service to composers, producers and broadcasters.

Denis is also a founding member of GFN Productions, with whom he co-produces the popular “Cineconcerts” including “The Lord of theRings” and “Star Wars”.
